About the Instructor
Shayla Cammarata fell in love with yoga over a decade ago and has been teaching for 7 years. Three years ago she had the opportunity to open her own studio and Ignite Yoga in Wexford was born. While Shayla primarily teaches power vinyasa yoga to adults, having her daughter sparked a passion for sharing her practice children. Shayla found it interested, particularly during the pandemic when our homes became our yoga studios, gyms and more, that her daughter gravitated towards her during her practice and workout sessions. Whether she would participate or just watch, Shayla felt the shift of showing, rather than telling, her daughter what self care looks like for her. And just as she teaches adults, yoga looks different on everyone. One child might be doing all the poses and the other sitting on their mat and coloring or playing with a stuffed animal. The point is teaching children that their mat is a safe space for them to explore. She loves watching this journey for them and the open heart and mind they show up with. She is so excited to share her knowledge and playful practice with your kids this summer!
