Pottery Barn will relocate from Walnut Street in Shadyside to the new Bakery Square complex in Larimer-East Liberty.

"The Pottery Barn needed a larger area for its store," said Herky Pollock, executive vice president for CB Richard Ellis/Pittsburgh.

Pollock, who is handling retail leases at the former Nabisco plant, said Wednesday that other tenants will include West Elm Furniture, an Anthropologie clothing store and an Urban Action fitness Center.

The retail section of the complex, being developed by Walnut Capital Partners of Shadyside, is to open in spring 2010. Jeremy Kronman, CB Richard Ellis's executive vice president, said the University of Pittsburgh will lease 20,000 square feet on the fourth floor.
