Bakery Square gets TIF

"Pittsburgh City Council on Monday voted 7-1 in favor of a tax increment financing package that will allow Walnut Capital Partners to develop the former Nabisco bakery in East Liberty into a $113 million mixed-use complex. The $10 million TIF will be used to pay property taxes and infrastructure improvements on the Bakery Square project, which will include a 990-space parking garage, 153,000 square feet of office space and 132,000 square feet of retail." |
