East Liberty plan gets tax break

"Pittsburgh City Council on Monday granted a $10 million tax-incentive package to an office, retail and hotel development in East Liberty. The approval gives Walnut Capital Partners of Shadyside the go-ahead to convert the former Nabisco bakery on Penn Avenue into Bakery Square, a $113 million complex that will have offices, stores and a 120-room hotel."
