Come down to Bakery Square or an unforgettable performance by the Yale Society of Orpheus and Bacchus, one of the nation’s longest-running and most beloved a cappella groups, on October 16th from 5:30–6:00 PM.
The Yale Society of Orpheus and Bacchus (SOBs) is the second-longest-running a cappella group in the nation ... or, as we prefer to put it, 20-odd friends who just won’t stop singing. The SOBs is an all-gender group with a repertoire spanning the last 87 years including jazz, folk, gospel, and music from every decade. The group maintains a robust touring schedule performing at venues around the world including The White House, The Pushkin Museum in Moscow, and the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
If weather permits, they will be performing in the Bakery Square Courtyard. If weather is unfavorable, they will be performing in the Bakery Square Conservatory.
