Where is yoga held?
- When the weather is favorable, yoga is held on the lawn, right in front of City Kitchen's outdoor patio.
- When the weather is unfavorable, yoga is held in The Portal.
- Yoga is on rain or shine! Please follow Bakery Square and yoga instructor Cara Bessko on Instagram for location updates.
If you've registered for a yoga session and can no longer make it, please make sure to cancel your registration. This gives those on the waitlist a spot! Here's how:
Navigate to your User Profile and on the left hand side, click "Registered Events." From here, you can toggle between your "Current" and "Past" events. Each event you registered for under the "Current" tab gives you the option to "Cancel Registration."
Parking:
Parking is free for 3 hours in the
North and
South Garages. Beginning June 1, 2026, Bakery Square's parking garages will be using Vend Park’s new digital parking system! To make your arrival quick and easy, guests are encouraged to register their vehicle ahead of time at
app.vendpark.io/login or by scanning the QR codes posted throughout the garage when you arrive. The system uses license plate recognition for a smoother parking experience, so getting in and out is simple and seamless.

About the Instructor: Cara Bessko
Cara Bessko is an experienced yoga teacher with over twenty years of teaching experience. With a strong foundation in Hatha Yoga traditions, Cara's style combines deep slow vinyasa, embodied challenge, and elements of Yin and restorative practices. Her teaching approach emphasizes anatomy, alignment, somatics, therapeutics, and trauma-informed work. Cara has worked with a diverse range of individuals, from professional athletes to differently-abled children and adults. Whether teaching in corporate settings, private sessions, or virtually, she believes in the healing power of yoga and the importance of breathwork. Cara's integrative sessions incorporate whole body and brain yoga therapy, movement, stillness, breath work, mantra, visualization, crystal singing bowls, and EMDR modalities to help individuals regain control of their lives. With a focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space, Cara's classes offer modifications, step-by-step guidance, and stress relief techniques. Join her for an inclusive practice that promotes understanding, stability, and overall well-being.
