A new tunnel connection to East Liberty Boulevard. The Portal will feature prioritized accessibility to ease the pedestrian experience through East Liberty and Bakery Square.
Finding your way through Bakery Square & East Liberty
The Portal Project is just one part of a plan to bring vibrancy, innovation, and accessability to Bakery Square and all surrounding areas. Visitors, residents, and office employees will enjoy easy access to the local businesses and shops in the Village of East Side and more through a pedestrian walkway from Bakery Square Boulevard through Office 1.0 and out the other side to Penn Avenue. With its emphasis on sustainability and community, the project is sure to be a welcome addition to the East Liberty neighborhood.
